Light Alive Marketing Answers Your Questions!

Light Alive Marketing Answers Your Questions!

Aug 9, 2021 | Marketing

When someone asks if we can help with their marketing needs, we start by setting up our free initial consultation and get down to business. We start off every meeting by asking- “what are your questions and how can we help you reach your business goals through marketing?” These are some of the questions we receive most often and our responses-

1. Why should I invest in content marketing when I can post content myself?

It seems like everyone today is online in some form or another. Whether you just have a Facebook account or went all in, social media has become almost a necessity. However, content marketing is more than just posting online. Content marketing expands across several platforms, including:

  • Email marketing
  • Blog content
  • Website content
  • Social media marketing
  • Visual content

Content marketing is nearly a full-time job. You’re constantly updating, creating, monitoring and researching in order to stay up-to-date and relevant. As a business owner, you’re focusing on other parts of your company and probably don’t have time to keep up with content marketing enough to make an impact. Let the professionals handle it for you!

2. Will you help my business go viral through social media marketing?

We’ll keep this answer simple: There is only one Beyoncé!

We’re kidding… partially. There’s a huge flaw in expecting your business to skyrocket in views, leads and engagement with viral content – there is zero way to predict what will or won’t go viral. As professionals, we can do our best to hit the right content at the right time and to the right audience. However, there is no set algorithm or method making something go viral.

3. What is SEO and why is it important?

SEO, or Search Engine Optimization, is what tells Google and other search engines (Bing, Yahoo, etc) to notice your online presence and to pull your information up for relevant searches. You can also use SEO to better understand how consumers are finding you and your competition online.

4. How can you help my business’s SEO?

The first step is always determining what’s working well for your business and what isn’t. This involves an SEO audit where we determine things like:

  • What keywords you might already be ranking for?
  • Could your website content include more of these keywords?
  • Are there keywords you should be using but aren’t yet?
  • Does your content marketing include blogging, email marketing, or any other exposure that will help search engines identify you?

From there, we’ll discuss with you what your next steps and options are, develop an SEO strategy and build your SEO together!

5. What is the benefit of personalized graphic design over template designs?

First impressions are EVERYTHING! From the moment you meet someone or show them a concept, they begin formulating their opinion. While template designs are easy to use and do have their place in marketing, personalization is where you get to really showcase you and your business. Graphic designs tailored to you and your needs are what will catch audience attention, after all!

6. Why should I spend money on a professional website redesign and maintenance?

All content marketing roads lead to your website! If you don’t believe us, here’s a snazzy statistic: SEO brings in more than 1000% more traffic than organic social media.

7. How do you measure content marketing’s impact on revenue?

Content marketing and revenue have a bit of a vague relationship. How exactly do you prove that content marketing is directly related to your business’s revenue? The answer is that you look at the analytics and trudge through the numbers. The Content Marketing Institute provides a great article about how you can plan and find out exactly what marketing methods make an impact.  For our purposes, it’s best to look at lead generation.

As we’ve already established, SEO is what search engines use to pull your information up during searches. While having social media is important, you probably won’t rank highly on Google if that’s all you have! However, just having a website is half the battle. The importance of a WELL designed and maintained website means the difference between being first page on a Google search and being on the second.
We hope we’ve answered your questions and made the concept of marketing less scary! However, we are always here to help walk you through any questions you might still have. Contact us at Light Alive Marketing today! (580) 699-2729 or email us contact@lightalive.marketing.
